Send us a vector silhouette — company logo, sport icon, Malaysian state shape, esports controller motif. We CNC-cut from clear, frosted, or coloured acrylic (10mm or 15mm thick), mount on a wooden or acrylic base, laser-engrave the citation into the front face.

Best for one-off corporate dealer awards, esports tournaments, and regional recognition where each branch gets a different state silhouette.

Route 2: Custom-mould die-cast metal (RM 1,500-3,500 mould setup, RM 12-80 per unit at 100+, 4-6 weeks first run, 2-3 weeks repeat)

Best when the design needs to repeat year on year:

• Annual corporate long-service medals

The mould amortises around 200 units. At 1,000 units it adds RM 1.50-3.50 per piece against a base cost of RM 12-25.

Route 3: Deeply-etched custom crystal (RM 350-1,200, 10-14 working days)

Artwork sandblasted into solid optical crystal at 5-10mm depth. Best for board-level recognition, founder anniversaries, and gala signature awards that have to read under spotlights.

Route 4: Pewter or mixed-material commission (RM 600-2,500+, 4-6 weeks)

Hand-finished pewter pieces with custom motifs (batik, hibiscus, company crest), or crystal-on-pewter, metal-on-wood signature centrepieces.

Best when the recipient is genuinely once-in-a-decade — a retiring founder, a Datuk Seri appointment, a 50-year firm anniversary.

CNC-cut acrylic is the route most clients underestimate. Honestly the fastest path to a genuinely custom trophy.

Workflow:

1. Send a vector silhouette (SVG, AI, EPS or high-res PDF)
2. We tweak for cut-feasibility — thin cantilevered limbs need thickening; detail under 2mm gets simplified
3. Confirm dimensions
4. Mount on a black wooden or clear acrylic base
5. Laser-engrave the citation onto the front face

Best applications:

• Esports tournaments with a controller, headset, or game-specific motif

Custom-mould die-cast metal is the right call when you need a piece that repeats — annually, across regions, or year-on-year over a tournament's life.

Economics:

• Mould setup: RM 1,500-3,500 one-off (medals at the low end, full trophies at the top)
• Per-unit production: RM 12-80 (size, finishing — gold, silver, bronze, antique brass — and ribbon)
• Viable from about 100 lifetime units, usually pays back around 200, clearly efficient at 1,000+

Worked example. A 5-year tournament producing 200 medals a year — 1,000 units total. A RM 2,500 mould adds RM 2.50 per unit. That is small beside the RM 25-40 base medal cost, and repeat runs skip the setup fee.

• Subsequent runs years 2-5: 2-3 weeks

1. Logo vectorisation — if you only have a JPG or PNG dragged off your website at 72dpi, we trace it cleanly to SVG, usually within hours
2. 2-4 concept sketches based on your brief — same day for simple briefs (single piece, clear logo, standard format)
3. 2-3 rounds of digital proof revisions based on your feedback
4. Cut-feasibility review for CNC acrylic — thickening thin limbs that would snap, simplifying sub-2mm details that won't survive 10mm acrylic cutting
5. Mould-feasibility review for die-cast — drafting undercuts at 1.5-degree slopes, making sure ejector pin placement doesn't show on the front face
6. Bilingual layout for BM, English, Mandarin (Simplified or Traditional), Tamil, or Jawi citations

The only paid extra is custom mould setup itself (RM 1,500-3,500 one-off). We pay the partner workshop for tool fabrication — a real out-of-pocket cost.

Everything else — vectorisation, sketches, digital proofs, layout, font selection — is included.

4. Logo or motif — vector preferred (SVG, AI, EPS), JPG/PNG works (we vectorise free).
5. Dimensions and colour preferences if you have them; otherwise we recommend.
6. Deadline — be honest about the ceremony date so we can scope the route honestly.
