35+ Malaysian trophy terms decoded — APC, MSSD, optical crystal, Jawi, LO
The vocabulary that turns up on WhatsApp briefs every working day — materials, engraving methods, honorifics, procurement instruments, sector-specific acronyms. Plain-English definitions, no gatekeeping.
First-time buying a trophy? The vocabulary can feel opaque.
APC, PIBG, MSSD, optical crystal vs crystal glass, inner laser vs UV print, Datuk Seri vs Yang Berbahagia.
None of it is gatekept on purpose — it's just specialist language that nobody bothers to define publicly. So we did.
35+ terms below pulled from actual WhatsApp threads with HR teams, PIBG treasurers, and procurement officers. Plain-English definitions with Malaysian context. Search via Ctrl/Cmd-F or jump by letter. Cross-link to engraving methods and pricing tiers as needed.
No terms match that. Try a broader word, or WhatsApp us and we'll define it.
