How the calculator works
For each event × each category, the calculator counts one medal per selected position (Gold / Silver / Bronze). Then optional participation medals are added at one per participant. The cost range uses Malaysia bulk pricing: RM6-9 each for acrylic medals, RM12-25 each for die-cast metal medals. Custom-mould die-cast medals (RM30-60 each, 6-8 week tooling lead time) aren't covered by this calculator — WhatsApp us if you need a custom-mould quote.
Plan ~10% spare medals
Event-day surprises happen — last-minute registrations, broken ribbons, lost medals, mistaken category assignments. Order roughly 10% above the calculated total to avoid awkward gaps at the prize-giving table. We bake this buffer into the formal quote when you message us.
Order 4-6 weeks ahead in peak season
Peak medal-ordering season in Malaysia is March-May (school sports day cluster) and September-November (year-end MSSD/MSSM circuit). During these windows production at our partner workshops gets busy — order 4-6 weeks ahead of your event date for cleanest planning. Outside peak season, 2-3 weeks is comfortable.
