The four materials — and which moment each one fits
Appreciation plaques come in four materials Malaysian HR teams actually order, and picking the right one is mostly about matching weight to the moment.

Acrylic is the cheapest tier — laser-cut shapes with printed or engraved inserts. Wood uses warm rosewood and beech bases with an engraved metal plate. Crystal covers optical crystal and crystal glass for the senior pieces. Pewter is the Malaysian tin-alloy tradition — heavier than crystal at the same size, and the right call for a retirement or a 25-year handover.
