- Logo etch: small, single position, top-front face.
- Citation: 2 to 4 lines, recipient name with appropriate title (no honorifics in most professional services contexts unless the recipient holds a Tan Sri or Datuk title), award name, year.
This is a larger hero piece, and the base material and detailing vary by firm, so I quote it on spec. The senior firms typically commission at the upper end; mid-size firms at a more restrained size.

Senior associate / manager / director promotion pieces
Promotion ceremonies in this sector are often family events. Spouses, parents and children attend. The piece travels home in the back seat of a car. It lives on a credenza or shelf for years.

Partner promotion recognition
Promotion to partner is the most significant career milestone in a professional services firm.

- Crystal block 220mm to 260mm, optical-grade, classic facet: with pewter base optionally, restrained engraving, full name, “Admitted to the Partnership”, year, firm name, location. As a senior hero piece with an optional pewter base, this is quoted on spec.
Some firms commission a matched piece for the new partner’s spouse or family, a smaller crystal piece (180mm) acknowledging the family’s support, RM 280 to RM 450. This is a thoughtful touch and usually reads well.

Retiring senior partner pieces
The retiring senior partner piece is the firm’s most considered recognition gesture.
The recipient is often a multi-decade contributor. Sometimes 30+ years with the firm, building the practice, training generations of partners and associates, representing the firm in major matters. The piece register reflects that weight.
