A KL trophy workshop built around WhatsApp.

Family-run since 2009 — designing, engraving, and assembling trophies, medals, plaques, and corporate gifts at our Brem Park workshop in Kuala Lumpur.

iTrophy is a small family workshop in Kuala Lumpur. We design, engrave, and pack crystal trophies, medals, plaques, and corporate gifts in-house — nothing is drop-shipped, and nothing leaves Brem Park without a final QC by the same person who set up the engraving job. Sales runs on WhatsApp because that is how Malaysians actually buy. Quotes back fast, payment via FPX or e-wallet, despatch the same week.

How iTrophy started

We started in 2009 from a small workshop with one engraver, serving Klang Valley schools that needed sports day trophies, sports clubs running weekend tournaments, and HR teams who just wanted someone to actually pick up the phone. The model was simple from day one: keep design, engraving, and finishing under one roof, quote fast, and treat every order — single retirement award or 500-medal tournament — with the same care. Over the years the equipment got more capable, the material range stretched from basic plastic and metal into optical crystal, cast acrylic, and hardwood, and the customer list grew to include GLCs, listed corporates, government departments, NGOs, and the full Malaysian education and sports calendar. The family ownership and the KL workshop have not budged.

The workshop at Brem Park

The workshop sits in Brem Park, just off Jalan Kuchai Lama. It is a working production floor — not a showroom — with CO2 and fibre laser engravers, a UV flatbed printer, a sublimation press, and the cutting, sanding, and finishing benches that turn raw blanks into finished awards. The floor is laid out so a job moves in a straight line: artwork sign-off, engraving, finishing, packing, courier handover. That short loop is why we can quote in minutes, run a 24-hour rush on most stock items, and keep the same team accountable for the piece from proof through to the courier label. Walk-in collection is welcome during business hours — WhatsApp ahead so the right person is around to walk you through samples.

The people and the philosophy

We are a small team — designers, engraving operators, finishing hands, and the family principals who still answer WhatsApp messages personally. The smallness is on purpose. It is what lets us quote within the hour, catch the typo before the laser fires, and ship a replacement the same afternoon when something goes wrong in transit. Bahasa Malaysia and English both fine on chat — whichever you are more comfortable with. Fifteen years of listening to the Malaysian recognition brief means we already know what an MSSM event needs versus a long-service ceremony at a GLC, what a surau anniversary dinner expects, and how a PIBG committee thinks about cost per piece across a 60-trophy sports day.

What we actually make

Every order is three things stacked: a base material, an engraving or print method, and a finishing pass. Our material range covers optical crystal, cast acrylic, polished metal alloy, solid hardwood, and pewter. Our engraving and print methods cover CO2 laser etching for crystal, acrylic, and wood; fibre laser for direct marking on metal; UV flatbed print for full-colour brand reproduction on flat surfaces; and dye-sublimation for ribbons, lanyards, and fabric inserts. We design in-house — vector logos reproduce best, but we will happily vectorise a clean PNG at no extra cost as part of the proof step. Custom CNC-cut acrylic shapes and bespoke wooden plaque profiles are routine; fully custom die-cast metal medals are available with a one-time mould at tournament volumes.

What we believe about awards

An award is a small object that carries a large amount of meaning — somebody's first championship, somebody's twenty-fifth year of service, the founding donor of a building. We treat that seriously. Quality means the engraving is sharp and permanent, the finishing is even, and the piece arrives without a chip in the box. Speed means we quote within the hour and run rush jobs when your event date is real. Transparency means pricing is published in MYR on every product page, bulk discounts are auto-applied at honest thresholds, and the lead time we promise is the lead time you get. We are not the cheapest supplier in Malaysia, and we are not trying to be — we are the supplier you go to when the recognition has to feel right.

Who we work with

Our regulars cover the full Malaysian recognition calendar. HR teams running annual dinners, long-service ceremonies, and dealer-of-the-year programs at GLCs and listed corporates. PIBG committees ordering trophies for school sports day. Sports clubs commissioning perpetual challenge cups for KL Futsal League and university tournaments. Surau and mosque committees fitting out anniversary dinners with engraved pewter. Government departments and statutory bodies preparing recognition pieces for retirement and excellence ceremonies. NGOs ordering donor-recognition plaques. Event agencies producing industry award nights at KLCC and Sunway. University clubs running MASISWA tournament prizes. And individuals — retirement gifts, graduation awards, family milestones — who deserve the same care as the 500-piece bulk job. The brief is local, and after fifteen years it is the brief we know best.

Where we are headed

The family workshop has been running since 2009. In 2025 we registered the modern legal entity — ITROPHY BROTHERS PLT (202504003677) — and rebuilt the website around how Malaysians actually buy: WhatsApp-first, mobile-first, MYR pricing on every page, no quote forms that go nowhere. The workshop, the team, and the values have not changed. What is changing is how easy we make it to find us, get a quote, and confirm an order without a phone call back-and-forth. The next few years are about expanding our material and finishing range, deepening the in-house design bench, and continuing to be the trophy supplier that Malaysian organisations recommend to each other after the event went well.

What we believe

  • Quality over volume

Every piece gets a final QC by the same person who set up the engraving job. We would rather ship one fewer order today than send out a piece we are not proud of.

  • Honest lead times

The lead time we quote is the lead time you get. If something is going to slip, we tell you on WhatsApp the moment we know — not the day before your event.

  • Transparent pricing

Prices are published in MYR on every product page. Bulk discounts apply at honest thresholds. No mystery quote forms, no inflated retail with a "discount" pretending to be a deal.

  • Local accountability

We are a Malaysian workshop owned by Malaysians, with a real KL address you can walk into. If something goes wrong, the person who answers WhatsApp is the same person who can fix it.

About iTrophy — frequently asked

  • Are you a registered Malaysian company?
Yes. The trading entity is ITROPHY BROTHERS PLT, registration number 202504003677 (LLP0045203-LGN), registered with SSM in 2025. The workshop itself has been running from Kuala Lumpur since 2009 — the 2025 registration was part of modernising the business structure, not a new business.
  • Are you accredited or certified by any trade body?
Tak — we are not currently a member of an awards-industry trade body, and to be honest there is no equivalent of the UK BTAS or US ARA active in Malaysia. What we offer instead is fifteen years of continuous operation from a real KL address, an SSM-registered legal entity, transparent MYR pricing, and a workshop you are welcome to walk into during business hours.
  • Why does it matter that you are family-run?
Two practical things. First, when you message +60 12 328 6038 the person on the other end has the authority to quote, approve a rush, or fix a problem on the spot — no escalation chain. Second, the family principals are still on the production floor, which keeps quality standards consistent in a way that is hard to replicate at supplier-network scale.
  • What makes you different from a generic supplier or an online marketplace?
We engrave in-house at our own workshop. Marketplace listings and many online "trophy shops" are reseller storefronts that drop-ship from a third-party engraver — slower turnaround, weaker QC, and a longer chain when something goes wrong. With us, design, engraving, and despatch all happen at the same Brem Park address by the same team.
  • Where is your sustainability stance?
Honest answer: trophies and awards are mostly virgin acrylic, crystal, metal, and wood — none of it is intrinsically green. What we do is run the workshop efficiently (laser jobs are nested to reduce material waste, offcuts feed into smaller pieces and keychains), use recyclable packaging where practical, and keep production local so awards do not travel halfway around the world before reaching a recipient in KL or Penang.
  • Do you do CSR or community work?
We support local school sports days, university clubs, and community sports leagues with goodwill pricing on tournament-quantity orders, and we sponsor the occasional perpetual cup for sporting events in our area. We do not run a formal CSR programme — small business, prefer to help directly when we can.
  • Can I see your work before ordering?
Yes — three options. (1) Browse the full product range with photography on the website. (2) Walk into the Brem Park workshop during business hours to see materials and finishes in person. (3) Ask on WhatsApp for photos of similar past work in the category and finish you are considering — we will send relevant samples without the customer-identifying engraving.
